1983
Indo Skins Garments Pvt.Ltd was established on February 17th.
1984
Registration with Reserve bank of India and Council for leather exports.
1987
Permanent small scale industry registration certificate no: 18/04/43749 was obtained.
1989
Moved to new factory premises at Guindy Industrial Estate, Chennai.
1990
Inaugurated our Tannery in Madhavaram, Chennai for inhouse leather development and production.
1994
IS0-9002 Certificate obtained.
1996
Construction and implementation of a CETP(Common Effluent Treatment Plant) for the tannery cluster in Madhavaram.
2006
Modernization of Tannery according to environmental laws and establishment of Leather Service Center.
2008
On the eve of the company’s 25th anniversary, a canteen with a ‘free breakfast’ scheme for all employees was introduced
2009
Introduced an updated code of conduct for employees and adopted employer best practices.
2019
‘RTM’ Ready To Manufacture Audit report received from INDITEX.
2021
Our tannery acquired a ‘Gold Rated’ LWG certification from Leather Working Group Audit.
